Love has several years experience as an accounting technician, most recently with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. She resides in Clayton with her son, Marc. Strickland, who resides in Raleigh, has previous experience as a freelance artist and worked as a gallery assistant at a local art gallery. She earned her bachelor’s degree in studio art and art history from Meredith College in 2004.
